Jon, I am beginning to think that "the customer is always wrong attitude" may be a major problem in the discount brokerage industry. I personally spoke to 3 or 4 representatives of National Discount who had that attitude when I had a problem. The last person I spoke to was the only one who was willing to consider that I might be right.

In this case, I was proven to be right, but I do imagine with all of the uninformed investors jumping on the discount broker bandwagon that often the customer is wrong. I think that it would be helpful if the discounters would put some emphasis on training their reps in people skills. Often, they seem to be quite cocky.
