Terry, an epithermal quartz vein system, running from the south west to north east, dipping to the north west at 70 degrees. The system varies from 5-50 feet wide and has a length of over 1500 feet with a know depth of 1000 feet. First found in 1917, it has yielded around 75,000 tons average 0.24 over the years. Getty JV in 1985 closed down in 1988 when flow through funding was halted, and the mine was closed. It would take $10M to reopen the mine, and it is marginal at $320 gold. At $500 gold it would become a mine again. Cost of production would be around $300 per ounce as we have no mill, but at $500 that is a profit of $200/ounce for the 175,000 proven ounces in the ground. Claims are 1400 acres right on the good side of the Destor Porcupine fault. All posts are true about the tailings pond, Royal Oak drilling etc.
If you have a genuine interest please provide a mailind address and I will send an annual report and the small open pit we will run this fall(10,000 tons of 0.17 Oz/ton) It is cheap and easy to open pit lower grades.
