I just finished a very long article in "Atlantic Monthly" about the final selection of the JSF Fighter. It is called: "Uncle Sam Buys an Airplane," How Lockheed Martin beat Boeing for the biggest military contract in history, and how that one contract could change the way the military builds and pays for its weapons It was fascinating to me, but may bore a lot of people here. I shows where military procurement is going, and how they are trying to keep down costs. (If you want to know why the Boeing model was called the "Monica" read it.)
