Hi Steve ... at this point, I am not at all sure what might happen short term ... I had expected a rally of some significance into early-mid summer, but I don't know about that at all ... it seems like a lot of the left over optimism is finally starting to crumble ... ... long term, I do not think the bear market is nearly over ... the 911 lows will be tested and broken, but probably not until October ... ... over the last two years, three individuals or groups have had it right on target ... Stephen Roach of Morgan Stanley, The Economist and ContraryInvestor.com ... I continue to be amazed by the insight and analysis of Stephen Roach - although he is due to be wrong ... ... I am starting to wonder if the U.S. economy and equity markets will recover even in 2003 ... ... I continue to be very patient with ABMD (8,000 s), good things are coming in my opinion ... I also have large positions in TNTX (30,000 s) and VLNC (10,000 s) ... all are 'story' stocks ... I am flat except for that ... my recent efforts trading futures in the Nasdaq 100, US Dollar Index, wheat and corn were all expensive lessons for me - much more to be learned there before I enter again ... ... hope you are well and that spring has been great in England ... I can not remember a more beautiful or balanced spring here in coastal New England ... Ken Wilson
