Crooks are crooks, lock 'em all up if they have proof, as far as I am concerned.

I think Pink just wants to build a track record of several months without a majority of wrong calls. It's getting harder and harder for him to dine out on a few winners and duck the numerous losers.

If/when he comes back, the munchkins' memory will have faded and he can resume his self-pump job.

Since Pinkie runs a hedge fund and conceals that fact from the SI readership (along with other SI personalities who lack the cojones to be candid with other SI members), who knows what shennanigans he gets up to? I wouldn't trust that whole crowd any more than I trusted Elgindy once I cut my ties with him, such as they were.
