Lately I've taken to streaming audio while working on my computer. I'm very impressed by the variety of commercial-free content that's available, much of which I could never pick up over the air. My only disappointment is the relatively poor sound quality produced by my pc-grade speakers. Is there any way I could send the speaker signal to my home audio system and listen with my full-size stereo speakers? -- B.V. Via Road Runner. Both PCs and Macs have "line out" jacks you can use to connect the audio output of the computer to any standard hi-fi component -- to a stereo receiver's AUX input jacks, for example, or to the receiver's TAPE IN jacks.
