You just have to love the internet. How else can one talk stocks with a guy in Texas whilst playing chess with a guy in Taiwan. check out: ichess.com registration is free. You pull up a list of currently running games and you choose to either play or spectate. A chat feature enables you to communicate with your opponent. Spectators can view the chat but are prevented from using the chat or moving the pieces as this would disrupt the game. Make sure you have Java enabled in your 'Options/Network Prefs/ Languages' menu. The Java code seems pretty solid -- no crashes. As of this writing, there were two games in progress for spectating, and one game open, awaiting a challenger. Games can be suspended, and later resumed. Who's up first? -MrB
