ALPINE, UT, May 21 /PRNewswire-Firstcall/ - Clifton Mining Company (OTC: CFTN, news, msgs ) is pleased to announce that it has elected Dr. Ken Friedman as the new president of Clifton Mining Company. Dr. Friedman has arranged a conference call and webcast with brokers and shareholders on May 21.
Clifton's management is pleased to have Dr. Friedman aboard. He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in the mining industry and the brokerage industry. Dr. Friedman holds a Masters degree from Harvard and a Masters and Ph.D. from M.I.T. He spent 13 years working with large brokerage firms working as a mining and metals analyst, account and portfolio manager and as a director of research. Dr. Friedman has also worked as an assistant and associate professor of Physics and Philosophy. He chaired the Department of Philosophy at SUNY for three years. Dr. Friedman has been a director of Clifton Mining Company since November of 1994, and, as such, has a full knowledge of the company's mineral assets. William D. Moeller will remain as Chairman of Clifton Mining Company.
