Question for the thread.

Ever since I have had cable tv I have not been able to record programs. I was told a while back that I needed a special box available at my cable company. I don't watch much tv. Don't even have a cable guide in the house. Ever.

But........once in awhile if I hear about or see that something interesting is going to be on, I can't record.

Any suggestions?

I used to record easily BC (before cable)
