MSI, Actually, I have been an avid isolationist for most of my life, and have been severely chastised for that position by liberals who believe in a one world government where all people are sheep, and wards of the state. I must agree that we should stand back and let the others fight it out for themselves, but who will let us?? If we were allowed to take that position, we would never have to consider annihilating another nation.
As for politicians in general, regardless of party affiliation, I have seen honest men take office in DC, and soon become corrupted by the elements that truly seem to run the show, and I can assure you, those elements do not include the POTUS. On the other side of the fence, I have seen thieves, accomplices to murder (no I am not necessarily meaning Clinton), and totally corrupt citizens go to DC and become revered by the American people. One that I will mention by name, because I saw things first hand, was LBJ. A more vicious, dishonest, man never existed, and yet he is revered, to a degree, because of the equality act of 1964. In fact, I have been in a room and heard him vilify African Americans, and use only the "N" word in reference to them. I also know about box 13 in Duval county, and ballots cast in his favor by dead people.
We can talk about this until hell freezes over, but there is very little we can do. The problem is too big, and too complex for mere citizens to have any effect. All I can see, is waiting for the end. I pray that I am not here to participate in it, or see it happen. |
