much of it does make sense. However, I do not see trading as traditional casino type gambling. I see it as more of a game of poker.

Blackjack, craps, slots, roulette....those are games of chance.

Poker is a game of skill.

But the most important point that I think that you make is to remember that the pros are there trying to transfer your wealth to them. One of my little written notes to myself is "remember, the stock market was created to *sell* stocks".
