Cash rich biotechs:

Just a quick little rant...I am on the night shift,
so, once again, this will seem a little goofy, but
I think I have a point:

Yeah, so investors, who are hoarding cash, should buy
these biotechs, which are also hoarding cash, etc etc,
but apparently <cash burn> is the boogieman, so be
warned! What a load of crap. Burning cash is good,
at least you are doing something, whether you
are finding "novel transcripts"* or just buying
up cheap technology, or whatever! And don't you have
to pay people who do the work to discover the drugs,
good lord!
Good grief, these stocks are all deleveraged and
deflated and nobody is doing anything, so the party
is over. Step up big pharma, and maybe a few first
tier smart biotech companies.
If I had a billion dollars, heheh...
Here is a nifty company to buy: CEGE, but, strangely,
it is hobbled by ABGX share slump.

Okay, buy Genset instead;-)
There should be some buyouts, now!
If Novartis or Glaxo, or Pfizer (or whatever
pharma with healthy shares to spend)
ends up owning everything, it spoils the whole
game. The 200M companies should be gobbling up
the 20M freebies right now, and the 1B companies
should be snagging the 100M etc etc.
If everything gets absorbed by big pharma nobody
is going to ever make any money again.
(Naturally tgen, snap, genxy and my other
roach motels should be bought out buy cash
rich biotech companies...heheh)
Well, that said, when my axph became cra,
I sold the rest. But I think if Celera absorbed
one of the companies I own now, I'd probably
hang on to CRA.
Whew! I have got to get some sleep.
*GZMO, If I hadn't taken most of my cash
out of my trading account recently, I very
well might have done 10000 shares of Gizzmo at
$3. Good lord, look at it down in the $2's!
Now this is a bear market! buried at the end
of the rant, anybody like lynx now in the $1's?
Seems like a super bargain. If I had 20M, maybe
I'd buy them up! |
