Actually, I'd have to agree fully with what you said. It appears to be grandstanding on the prosecutors part. An attempt by the feds to poison the potential juror pool. Conviction at any cost. The truth be damned.

On another thread, someone else made another interesting point: Many of those hijackers didn't know what they were going to do until just before 9/11. They knew it was a suicide mission and that large jets were involved but that was it. They were told what was to happen at the last moment.

So how likely was it that some stock trader 3,000 miles from them knew more than they did?
