Battery technology is lagging far far behind semiconductor technology. Just look around at the latest tiny PDA and laptop computers, cellular phones and two way radios. These devices are one half to one quarter the size/ weight of the battery it takes to run them. Put your money in battery technology, but spread it around. one third in Ultralife (ULBI) one third in Valence Technology, and a third in Sanyo or some other manufacturer. The company who solves this problem will have a lock on the market and the investors wont be sorry. I have invested in VLNC and ULBI.
