You are exactly right, IMO, on the foreign entanglements, and bloodless revolution required here at home. One way to create a revolution in the drug wars is what Britain has done, which is decriminalize, and force addicted users to declare themselves to doctors for prescriptions, and cut the profit out of the street peddlers. People don't like to make such declarations, unless they have to. The dealers and the narco-industry loses their gravy train. Dealers that show up near schoolyards still go to jail, which would be stupid, since any addict can go to a doctor and get $5 daily fix, so the dealer ends up in prison for nothing. About determination and strength: Americans have it. What we gets in the way is secrecy and deception by all the agencies of government that grab out wallets and our sons. That period of history is comeing to an end in this decade, I think...
