i don't know what you mean about a d-blow and how long for it to set up....

anti-venom is the opposite of a d-blow.....if a d-blow is stoch in oversold...and it turns up...hits the 50 line or close to it and turns back down.....that shows real weakness....

the opposite is...

a stoch at overbought 80 or so...starts heading down..but..it stops at 50 or near and turns and heads back up.....thats real strength....the anti-venom....

so you could have a death blow starting on an hourly chart....but the 30 min does an anti-venom hit and pulls the hourly out of its death blow...that just happened last week....

same could happen on longerterm charts....right now many weekly charts are in the early stages of d-blows...but a daily chart could get in a 50 bounce or anti-venom move and pull that weekly back up.....

plus it depends on which stoch the hit is on...as the fast...slow..and full all have there own strength and weakness in different timeframes....or lengths of time....

a full stoch is the most deadly and longer lasting....slow stoch is next....and fast stoch is the least effective for a long term view...
