Sometimes I notice that if the Dow futures are rising preopen, then the $NDX futures follow within 10 mins or so. That is not a scientific observation though. I haven't made any efforts to look for correlation between $NDX and $SPX, COMP or DOW. I am working on something to see how $SOX and $BTK might correlate to $NDX.
