I still think DEll is going to fight back with everything they have, Compaq will have a tough time in that market.

Chuckie, Dell is a first class operation and will indeed fight hard to keep Compaq at bay. However, Compaq was already the low cost producer and with their new BTO strategy will be able to compete on price while still maintaining attractive margins.

I think Dell will contine to do well, though not as well as in the recent past. Compaq will accelrate and continue with spectacular sales and earnings growth. Don't sell that Compaq.

P.S. You've got Intel reporting earnings on both Monday and Tuesday, and Compaq reporting on Tuesday the 15th. You might want to start watching Tellabs which reports on the 14th after the market closes. A great telecom equipment company with terrific growth.
