PT,
Obviously you're not up to speed on who Pugs is, or why he created that web site...
Without going too much into details, suffice to say that, in my not so humble opinion, Pugs is completely lacking in credibility, and is a mirror image of the personality that so many people attribute to A@P.
That particular web site has many discrepancies. Take what you find there, especially his conclusions, with a huge grain of salt. Logical he ain't...
And consider yourself lucky if he didn't attempt to capture your identity when you visited his web site, because you may find yourself to be included in his conspiracy theories at some point in the future.
As background information, he was on the losing end of a defamation lawsuit with an executive of a particularly dubious OTCBB company, perhaps about 18 months ago now. He has the distinction of being the first poster to actually lose a defamation case, this one to the tune of $1,000,000. The award was set aside as long as Pugs doesn't disparage the executive or any company where that executive may be. Pugs has disregarded the agreement (in my opinion) many times over, but the plaintiff has yet to invoke the judgement that I know of... There may be pending court actions that I'm unaware of, as I don't much follow Pugs or his diatribes anymore, since he left SI and went to Raging Bull.
Pugs is also being sued by a former penny stock King broker who now allegedly lives in London. To the best of my knowledge, Pugs is about to lose that case as well, which would make him the Internet's first two time loser of defamation cases. As near as I can tell from Pacer, Pugs is deploying delay tactics to avoid what I see as the inevitable, but we'll just wait and see.
Pugs started his onthecanvas site originally to display his artwork, which he says is critically acclaimed. I have no eye for artwork, nor no ears for music, so I'll defer to the judgement of others as to whether or not his work should be critically acclaimed... But soon after the artwork appeared, he started out on this global market conspiracy thing, where virtually every Silicon Investor poster is either a member of the conspiracy or a victim of same... If you look through all of the names where Pugs has made accusations, you'll find many totally honest people. Yes, you'll also find references to A@P, but when you shotgun allegations like Pugs does, eventually you'll hit a target...
Just so you know, Pugs couldn't DD his way out of a wet paper bag. He used to post on SI, but got tossed, multiple times in fact, for a myriad of reasons. He himself posted somewhere that he lost $20K or $30K on some scummy penny stock (RMIL, I think), yet blames others for his loss. (The "bashers" were in cahoots with promoters to shake his shares, which led him into holding because he could see they were shaking shares, so when the stock collapsed, he was still holding, or so his story goes... Too bad, so sad...)
Bottom line? Be forewarned and extremely careful whenever reading anything he has on his site, and double check all references... And try not to quote from his site lest... <g>
