You don't understand Tony,
His greed made him stupid... very stupid at times. You're talking about a guy that bought himself a Ferrari, a Hummer, a Bentley.. then got his wife a Suzuki Grand Vitara. You're talking about a guy who rented a U Haul and paid illegals off a street corner to move his furniture from his old house into his new 2.2 million dollar home so he could save a few bucks.
The thing I find ironic about this whole situation is the event that got the ball rolling on snagging ELGreedy. In typical fashion, Tony wound up shooting himself in the foot... actually in this case, thru his own heart. Typical Tony, years back, looking to get a lenient judgement on his upcoming insurance fraud trial, decided to start "acting Muslim". He suddenly became profoundly disturbed by the events in Kosovo and decided he needed to help. So he wound up doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that to bolster his "I am a compassionate Muslim" credentials in hopes of getting a lenient judgement from his Insurance Fraud judge. Well, I don't know whether or not it helped him with the judge at the time, but it sure did come back to bite him in the ass. It's kind of like using a lie to hide another lie.. it keeps compounding until it all unravels... Tony never cared for Kosovars -sorry to burst your bubble peter-... he cared about getting a lighter sentence. The end result being, his little "scam" was what caused the Govt. to start looking and uncover his bigger scam. Funny how this all started isn't it? ----- g
P.S. To give you some more insight into Tony the Munificent. Upon hearing Tony was going to use Mexican illegals to move his furniture as opposed to using insured movers, a site member asked him if he was worried that he might be liable to pay for medical expenses if any of the Mexicans he was using happened to get injured while on the job. Tony's response was.. Nope, they're illegals, what are they gonna do... Sue me? Now you get an idea of what this little turd was all about? He wasn't out to help the little guy. He always was and always will be out to help himself. If what he does happens to help the little guy at times, then that's just a coincidence. If it happens to screw the little guy, it doesn't matter. Kind of like him screwing his mother over for money. ElGreedy saw an opportunity to make some coin and ElGreedy did what came naturally... Mom, stranger, best friend, worst friend.. all the same. There were always 2 types of people that associated with Tony... People with something between their ears and saw Tony for what he was, a guy that would make a buck doing whatever he had to, and the second group, people with merde inbetween their ears. These were the delusional types that ignored what Tony did on a routine basis and believed in him. This second group is getting a much deserved rude awakening. Tony was a thief amongst thieves (in reference to the companies he targeted). He wasn't a good guy... he was a bad guy that often caused trouble for other bad guys. His stripes were the same as the guys he tried to extort money from plain and simple. |
