ted, don't try to run the CD from your corrupted Windows systems, just boot off of it. It will give you an option to run an anti-virus check. You might have to enable CDROM as a bootable device in your BIOS -- make sure it is BEFORE IDE 0.

Almost all anti-virus programs come with bootable CD's and Norton Systemworks and/or Antivirus is no exception.

On second read, it seems like you have it under control, but I would still run NAV by booting directly from the CD.
