08:13 ET BGEN Biogen criticized for Avonex marketing practices -- WSJ (49.47)
The WSJ reports that the FDA has criticized Biogen for aggressively trying to convince doctors and patients that its Avonex MS drug is superior to competitor Rebif. The FDA said it found Biogen's promotional materials "false" and "misleading." The FDA has asked Biogen to stop distributing the materials in question.
