And their Lobbyist are so powerful(the strongest corporate lobby in D.C), and have so many politicians in their back pocket such that the desperate reforms necessary to stop such wrong-doing never happen.
The Pharmaceuticals be a case where GREED is more and more replacing good science for just "let's rip the public off for every buck we can squeeze out of them".
This is another matter that will have a major backlash someday. Max
