gao, Did you really post this and believe it? "Another thing anyone in the guard can do is put their membership on a sort of Leave of Absence (without pay) which can be done by anyone up to a full year." Here our nation was in a full blown war, and you think that a person in the military can merely get a leave of absence and merely get docked in pay...Gao, what this is really called is AWOL and yeah, they do dock your pay. To suggest that men were dying in Viet Nam and Willie Williams some little darked skin "boy" only had to ask for one of the special leave of absences. Gao, use your sources to tell me how many Willie Williams got one of these special leaves and gave up his $200 a month pay and got out of those flying bullet zones in Viet Nam? Could you get on the phone and call up one of your mysterious and unnamed fact sources and get back to me soon.
