I must confess I have not followed COHU too closely because it trades so thin Bob. finance.yahoo.com I do think this time is different than other recovery cycles for the SOX for instance because in the prior cycles you mentioned there was not the technical damage that is present in so many of the other major indices. Today of course the DJIA has slipped back below 10,000. John Templeton is calling for 4000 on that index. biz.yahoo.com I think from a purely rational valuation standpoint he may be right in those expectations. In addition I agree that there are too many bulls out there today for me to believe we have seen the bottom. Here is some additional commentary that I found interesting: murphymorris.com amateur-investors.com The VIX is moving up nicely today. Currently over 23. I would like to see it continue higher. I would also like to see my list of only 3 semiconductor stocks with an RSI under 20 increase by a factor of 10 to set up another short term move higher. I'm just sitting on my cash and waiting. RtS
