And salesmen sometimes lie. That is a logical fact of life. Don't discount it. I'm typing this on my Dell at work. IMHO, if one thinks there is a decision to be made, ... in other words, if you're not already locked into a platform by circumstance, ... go with a Mac. I'll take a hot bath over luke warm any day.
