Just another price cut, nothing to get excited about Jim. I guess the only interesting part is that AMD's lack of investment doesn't allow them to cut prices and make money. And soon, when they start using a foundry, they will have even less control. I wonder if they will go to UMC (?) and say "Intel cut it's prices so we need a lower price from you folks." I would have to check, but I think Taiwan's foundries are at about 80% of capacity and heading up. Wafer starts will probably get more precious if semi's start a cyclical recovery.

It should be interesting to see how that all works out.
