I missed the show yesterday, but an earlier post eluded to BB predicting Dow 8000-8200 in 6 to 9 months? Compared to what's happening in the market now, that's a market stall! Are there any fresh numbers being thrown around? I felt that 8000 was possible a few months back and now that we are basically there, I will be taking some money off the table (PE's seem pretty high, July-September periods have been generally weak). The only thing keeping me in is the lack of bullishness out there.

I don't really think there are bearish rumblings on this thread, just jitters - which is scarey! Everyone seems to be bullish -- but have their fingers on their triggers.

Don't remember if Bob was a bull or bear back in Oct 87 -- but he has defended the year as "not that bad" (+3%).

Any predictions for new Dow targets, anyone?
