well the way a financing game usually goes is that the broker doing the PP gets some shrs and cash for doing it and they try and hold the stock low till the price is protected by the exchange. then once the pricing is done they will stop shorting and lift the 'lids' so that everyone involved makes some$$. Now this kind of activity is what got scott paterson into a lot of trouble last yr with kasten chase financing I think - but it's the norm and in an article in the Nat Post a couple weeks back it was conincidental to see that yorkton acknowledged using greenline to help short the KC stock at time rather than showing it on thier house since they were arranging the financing. Also they know that they can cover thier short position with the broker wts once it's all done. Now maybe of this was occurring on IWA - but it sure was a copycat of the story in the paper from where I sit.
