1) Former owner of at least one pocket protector... True. I think only one, though. I don't usually care if I have pen or pencil handy as I don't write much down. I have, however, owned one rubber chicken and when I suspended it over my BBS's file-server with a Cat-5 "noose" and the other end of the cable plugged into the concentrator, crashes became a daily instead of hourly event. I'm not generally superstitious, but nobody can convince me the rubber chicken wasn't soaking up all the bad juju going through the wires. I'm sure I've got pictures somewhere of that setup. Need to see if I can find one.
