Several of you have written expressing sympathy for my PGO losses. I appreciate those kind words. Actually, I have been treated kindly by a number of people this week. My new boss at K Mart has been quite understanding and even gave me some overtime on the Holiday. He indicated that although the store was closing they would still need to maintain the property and he would put my name in as lawn custodian--especially if I would buy the last riding mower they had on sale. The lady at the bank was kind as well by not charging me the full fee for those overdrafts I had to write for our mortgage and the mower. When the owner of our DQ learned of the PGO situation he immediately called my wife to offer her the sprinkle shaking job at his north store. He really hates the Arabs and blames them for the Atlantis delay. Had to sell our Jaguar but that's ok because my wife can take the bus from her day job at the dry cleaners to the DQ. The owner kindly gives her a ride home. I was somewhat surprised that it took so long to close the DQ. Although they lock the doors at 10 she didn't get home till after three. She said that smell was because they wipe the machines down with beer and she ripped her dress shaking the sprinkles. She reminded me how lucky I am to have such good friends and reported that several other local businessmen have offered her jobs when they heard about the PGO price decline. So you see, although I am disappointed in my seismic investments every cloud has a silver lining. I have learned I have many good friends both on the internet and in our local community. Sometimes it just takes a little adversity to bring out the best in people. Well, have to go- I'm in charge of the Martha Stewart shelves tonight--Frank
