Linux is not ready for prime-time. It may be ready some day but that day has not yet arrived. Meanwhile,. it's beginning to splinter, like BSD did. I really don't know why people can't get it through their thick heads: the only way to successfully market an O/S is to make the hardware it runs on. IBM does it, Apple does it, Sun does it. More fluff from Wall St.
