Lots of Wasabi! Jeez!!! You da man! :o)... When we were doing the Narita/Haneda thing.. the bus took at least 2 hours but in this particular case we missed the bus... I forget why..lol.. so we had to take the taxi in order to make our connection. At the time we smoked so it worked out better anyway.. the taxi driver seeing a big fat fare didn't mind if we smoked at all <g>...

If you haven't tried it yet, try Shabu-Shabu.. They bring you usually a cast iron pot with a cone up the middle and it's filled with water. This is in resturaunts where there are connections for little gas burners. You actually cook the food yourself..lol Then they bring lots of different veggies and a tray of beef very thinly sliced. You dump in the veggies and once they are done dip the beef up and down until it's done to your taste. Last they bring a type of soba noodle to add to the pot. It's all served with a really nice diakon sauce that almost makes the whole meal! Also a really good custard-like dish is called chawa mushi and I love it. Just be warned that it is not sweet - at all- as is our tradition with custards. The taste and ingredients also vary as every chef seems to have his own "secret" recepie.
