I would have to say in spite of the Limo tat Paul has a hangup
on as he seems to go into a diatribe more often on the Limo than
anything else, that there is definitely a management problem in
AMD and it apperars to me to be more of a management problem than
just the CEO.I quit a job 5 years ago as a Manager of A Retail
Chain here in Jacksonville called Pic N Save.There were problems
with the Buyers out of Control. There was Favortism toward
somr Supervisors and Middle Managers and The Owner was like a little
Dictator. They ended up going into Bankruptcy as the Owner failed
to meet the Challenges of Stores like Walmart Target and Walgreen
to name a few. In short they "gutted" middle management and it all
fell apart this tear and they are out of Business."Individual
Investor" has an article in its latest issue about a company Vista
2000 which is selling for about $2.00 a share down from about 20. Two
large Institutions that own about 35% of the stock got together and
threw out the CEO and most of the board of Directors and brought in
6 of their own.Cant undersatand why something like that isnt being
attempted with AMD?

I am accumulating Time Warner (TWX) through a DRIP.I feel that
this stick has great underlying value and now is the time to get it
while it is cheap.Everytime I see or read something about TWX it is
mentioned that the CEO Levin is holding it down.I can see here that it would be tough as there are too many shares to control in TWX but I
wouldnt think it would be so hard in AMD relatively speaking.
