Anyone have an idea of how much this MSCI index change could boost US markets? How much is indexed to this? Scheduled for this Friday. Looks like a big change to me given that we we saw inflows of about 2.7billion into this index just last week. (amgdata.com). EDIT..maybe it was 2.2billion. I have not been able to find any other news story that actually states how much the US weighting other than the one in the post below....another reason to believe many don't know about it yet..Could also jive with JT's post earlier about NYSE members. Just a hunch. Message 17517634 The biggest gainer will be the United States, whose share of the index will rise to 56.3 percent from 53.5 percent.
