It was an allegory moment. I would not really interfere with the muttering.

But the point is simply that these religious goals are so transparent and feeble. The "scriptures" are so self serving and obvious.

Certainly, there is mystery in life. If one looks within, and is able to find something of compassion or universality, then what more is necessary? Is some idiotic racist literature a superior source of spirituality? Why are established "religions" all so conveniently racist and divisive? Why do educated people allow primitive "scripture" to influence when there are so many great and compassionate writers who may teach both the obvious and the mysterious? Why does the world tolerate the mystic morons to shame the human race century after century with their bloody wars and their idiotic hats and vestments? Anybody who justifies his cruelty and violence by appealing to the superiority or righteousness of his "God" ought to be given arable land and a high fence. Who has a superior God?? Who is "HOLY"? Who owns parts of this big blue ball simply because of who they are or what they believe?? It is not just the middle east...it is everywhere...Jews, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Hindus...and the thousands of sects informing these groups. Are any of these groups favoured by Destiny or God? Is it their claim...or is it the claim of others?

If they look at the sky and mutter...shoot them.
