Outstanding Investors Digest. A "value investing" oriented publication that features the ideas and writings of Warren Buffet and the "investors of Graham and Doddsville". All the contributors, it seems, are, as is Buffet, disciples of Benjamin Graham, the father of value investing. They manage money, mostly in mutual funds, and as a group they have convincingly and statistically outperformed the markets FOR DECADES in most cases.

The editor is very bright and understands valuations, accounting, and much more. It comes out about 4 or 5 times a year, and each issue is 64 pages long. About half is devoted to various annual reports and the other half is devoted to interviews with the "outstanding investors".

Uncharacteristically, half of the most recent edition was devoted to discussions about Level 3 alone. A lot of information was presented. Of course maybe it just LOOKED like a lot to me, since I knew NOTHING about it already.

I've subscribed for a few years. It costs around $300-$400 per year. It is good quality stuff. I recommend it to anybody that wants to both invest and sleep well.
