He is as angry and illogical as the people ranged against him are, and he is alone. He has no groupies- so he acts pretty much as I would expect. If the group against him had any empathy they would understand him better, but this whole affair has sunk to the level of a school yard scapegoat fest, and no one is thinking about it at all. It has become a question of "are you with the group or against it?", black and white- as usual on SI- no nuance. Not only is that terribly superficial but it is boring and a waste of time. No one is going to learn anything, no one is going to become educated about anything or be a better person. Most people just sink deeper into their reactive nasty selves. I don't think you can expect CH to turn the other cheek when he is taking insults from so many people. It would be nice if CH could rise above the outrageous things being said about him and to him, but if he had that kind of self control the people on the other side wouldn't bother him anyway and he probably wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
