BroadVision Appoints John W. Kuo as General Counsel
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 29, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN), the leading provider of enterprise business portal applications, today announced that John W. Kuo has been named as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for BroadVision. As BroadVision's General Counsel, Kuo will be responsible for and oversee all legal affairs and corporate governance matters of the company.

Kuo comes to BroadVision from 3Com Corporation, a leading provider of networking products, where he first served as the Legal Director for the Asia/Pacific Region and as a member of the regional executive management team, and then most recently as Associate General Counsel, Finance and Business Development, and Assistant Secretary. Prior to his five-year tenure at 3Com, Kuo served as Corporate Counsel for Acer America Corporation, a manufacturer of PCs and peripherals. He has also held positions within the corporate and business practices of Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich and Fulbright & Jaworski and was Regional Counsel for Baroid Corporation, an oil field services company.
Kuo holds a B.A. in Biology and Society from Cornell University and J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
