You well know that that requires a "g."

I remember another series about a stewardess named Vicki, I think. That was in the days when stewardesses were still called stewardesses. Did you know that in the early days they all had to be registered nurses? I read the boys' books, too, but the ones about young women had a key influence. That was a time when women were portrayed as cringing, screaming, and fainting while their menfolk fought on their behalf. Times have sure changed, in part because of all the girls who read Nancy Drew.
