Mel: Many people on this board have been involved in this sector for a year or more. We are familiar with many companies. When you ask "What are the Blue Chip Y2K stocks," I have to respond by asking you "Based on what?": signed contracts, size, elegant toolset, years in the business, potential earnings, niche market, chart action? Which are the blue chips, indeed? The action flows week to week, month to month. It takes time to absorb the differences between body shops, tool vendors, types of solutions, who's got rotten fundamentals, who's got higher margins, how much of their business is devoted to y2k, etc. etc.

I suggest starting by investigating the YTK Index on the AMEX. Check the Year2000 web sites. There are many useful URLs buried in numerous threads here on SI.

Now, check out CA, CHRZ, TSK, CDO, EDS, VIAS, DDIM, IMRS, CBSL, ZITL, SEEC, CSGI, IAIC, ALYD, STGI, AMSY, TSRI, ISLI, DSFT, SPNSF, ACLY, PTUS and I'm sure I left some good ones out.

Good luck.
