I think that "Astrologer-Analyst" would be Arch Crawford, editor of Crawford Perspectives. He did appear a few weeks ago alongside another maven with an unusual focus, but he also appeared a few days ago (it seems).

I caught just the end of his recent interview, but the concluding gist of his message was not to expect a decent long-term investing opportunity in the stock markets until some time late 1997. (I suppose he was speaking from some very long-term astrological perspective.) Neal Cavuto described Crawford's most recent newsletter comments as almost "fatal." Crawford agreed. He indicated he was "as negative as he can get"...and..."I'm doubled up on the short side"...and "you'd be a sucker" to start playing for a long-term play at this time..."1974 was the last great long-term investor play."
