all of it is well documented on the internet.... Paul Allen knowing about the QDOS person and/or company and contacting them, not Bill Gates... IBM meeting MSFT only because they needed an OS after the CP/M's Gary Kildall refused.... QDOS standing for Quick and Dirty OS.... QDOS being a derivative of CP/M... that Bill Gates says he got to Xerox parc first, but Jobs has been documented to be there a year before Gates.... CPQ reverse engineered IBM's priority chips... and that this CPQ feat was what enabled the huge market for a MSFT licensing program which MSFT had nothing to do with, except being in the right place at the right time to flourish because of a CPQ feat....nothing wrong with luck....... etc.. etc... which one is it you doubt, and i will see if i can find a couple links for you.... jon.
