Walter, The Last Fundamental Update was taken from Strategic Investor Reports which updates the Information Weekly based upon the closing price on 07/11/97 which was $19.00. Strategic Investor does not add charges back in or subtact gains from its calculation of P/E for both the Industry and the Company. If one would, the P/E would be higher for both PACC and the Industry. I agree that PACC is still undervalued. . lets hope that some firm . . ie . . . Paine Webber . . Prudential and / or Merill Lynch agrees also. It is impt to remember that PACC has about 600 broker / dealer aggreements in place. . .ML and PW have worked with PACC in the past via a rights and shelf offering for its popular closed end fund ( Pilgrim Prime Rate Trust ). . would not be uncommon for one or more to recommend this stock. . hope someone does . . DC * I believe we will see some good news about the company's plans to increase its assets under mgt of both its open and closed end funds.
