The reason that I have been bearish and predicting that the market will continue to go down is for a number of reasons: -No selling climax -Low VIX/VXN readings -High Bullish Percentages Other factors that I have been weighing are: -Increase in the price of gold -Increase in the price of oil -US Dollar breaking down -No base built in any of the indices If we get a selling climax coupled with higher VIX/VXN and lower Bullish percentage readings, I will be diving into the long side with both feet. Until then, I consider stocks to be primarily for selling, not buying.
