Before I respond substantively, I need to know whether you are seriously interested in any resolution to this situation.

In your posts over the past several weeks, I have seen no interest in any form of closure. If that continues to be your position -- if you are basically still in the equivalent position of, for example, those who remain committed to the total destruction of Israel but also expect Israel to make major concessions in suit for peace -- then I don't see that responding substantively and seriously to you would be an appropriate use of either of our resources or of the thread resources.

I think I have been clear, though apparently not to your satisfaction, that I accept that I made mistakes and regret the consequences of them. But I think others, too, have put forth inappropriate posts who have not yet acknowledged that they have anything to account for. There are very few situations in human relationships where all the wrong is on one side and all the right on the other, and IMO this is not one of the rare exceptions. I say this not in self-justification, but because I do believe that any full resolution must at least acknowledge the range of issues and inappropriatenesses involved.

If -- when -- you are interested in moving beyond attack mode into seeing whether some closure can be reached, you know where to reach me.
