Jim, RE: Right now, Bush is spending us into oblivion with this terrorist thing without even getting to the roots of the problem...and youz are paying for it. Neither side is giving an inch in the middle east and we are right there funding it...directly and indirectly. Bush is doing worse than I ever imagined he could as president, and my standards for him were rather low to start. Beyond what you mention, the steel tariff and farm subsidy are indications that Bush won't be much help for the domestic economy at all. It is hard for me to imagine a way that Gore could have done any worse.
