I am reflecting on your points.
I am also reflecting on other things.
1. jla has openly said he will disbelieve anything I say. He has not rescinded or modified that. So whatever I say, he will call it lies.
2. When I reacted to his reference to my mother by noting her painful, to me, death, he laughed. He could, and should, simply have said "Sorry, I didn't mean to cause offense." He didn't, and by his response, and his ongoing response to you that he sees nothing wrong with his response, he makes clear that he enjoys, even delights, in causing pain. No matter what I say, I can expect that he will use it, too, to cause pain if he possibly can.
3. When I simply reacted to a perceived offense to my mother, Bill accuses, and continues to accuse, me of using her for political gain. It is only to be expected that whatever I say, he will make the same response.
4. Bill calls this whole thing "impersonal." He said that twice, and didn't respond when I reacted to it. There is clearly no sense in his mind that there is any effect on people of any of this.
5. So, no matter what I say, I will be called a liar, and I can expect every vulnerability to be exploited and used to cause maximum pain. Furthermore, anything I say will be useless in any healing or closure process since certain posters have made clear that they are not interested in either healing or closure.
Certain posters here seem to view this as a matter of personal recreation -- kick the can, as it were, only the can is CH. I don't mind people having fun, but I'm not particularly interested in just tossing my feelings out there when it appears that the only result will be to provide additional ammunition for their fun.
