I grew up on a farm. We slaughtered pigs by taking them into an empty granery and chasing them with the blunt end of an axe or a post mall. We castrated them by holding them down and (dad) cutting off their nuts--followed by a dose of creosote, release, and....aieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I remember when we got a self propelled swather. For awhile we were the first. And a 14 foot cultivator...

I remember when my brother took apart the JD tractor--top to bottom! He was always like that. Always hooking the log chain unto rocks or trees or anything that would give the tractor a work-out. Fun times!

Then we got a WD-9...gas to diesel. When you shoved the levers and switched her over she almost jumped off the ground. Yep...those were the days. AG school was under our feet and in our hands...
