Hi there!. Thanks for the invitation. "GIVES", is also what a grandma does best! Here are some stories: My daughter took her six year old to the eye doctor, leaving the four year old with me. When the appt was finished, she called to say she was on her way back and could we go get some lunch (there's that "gives" again). Sure, I said, but I had to get ready. So I told the little one, "your mom's coming back, I have to hurry and put my makeup on." To which she said, "Is that so she won't recognize you?" This weekend my boyfriend and I joined my kids on an adventure to some local parks and rivers. At one park we let the kids play on the equipment for a while. The other children at the park were all speaking Spanish. As we left, the older girl said "I know it's not possible, but did we just drive into another country?"
